PREPARATION FOR SWISS GOLD
The SWISS GOLD method of brewing coffee is a different take on traditional pour over methods , where a gold plated filter replaces the usual paper filters.
It brews a cup profile with more body than pour over but with the same flavour clarity.
You will need:
- SWISS GOLD one cup filter
- Serving cup/mug and a waste cup
- OZONE coffee beans weighed & freshly ground (for plunger). We recommend trying a single origin coffee through your SWISS GOLD.
- Filtered hot water
The method:
- You will need to boil fresh filtered water, and have the water ready when it is just off the boil. Place the SWISS GOLD filter on top of your cup.
- Remove the perforated insert and put medium ground fresh coffee on the gold plated filter foil. You will need approx two tablespoons of coffee to make one brewed cup of coffee. Try more/less coffee to taste.
- Replace the perforated insert. First, pour just enough into the SWISS GOLD so that it saturates the coffee grinds . Wait 15 seconds, then continue to slowly pour hot water into the perforated insert according to the capacity of your cup.
- Remove the SWISS GOLD filter and place on the waste cup. Drink and enjoy!
You can rinse your SWISS GOLD filter under a tap to clean. The SWISS GOLD is also dishwasher safe.
